• 2+ Years of Strong understanding for Medical terminologies& anatomy, E&M, OP, IP. With CPC Certification.
• Experience in E&M Specialty Coding-Outpatient, Inpatient, observation, Critical care facilities using ICD,Modifiers, CPT, HCPCS codes.
• 2+years of work experience in Medical Coding
• Proficient computer skills, usage for MS excel& word.
• Ability to work with various coding software
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal andwritten
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality ofinformation
• Time management

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Code Diagnosis and Procedures: Interpret andassign medical codes for diagnoses and procedures from various types ofhealthcare documentation using ICD & CPT resources.
• Data Entry: Input data related to codedinformation and other healthcare data into computer systems.
• Review Records: Evaluate medical records forcompleteness and accuracy, confirming all required data is entered and properlycoded.
• Maintain acceptable productivity/quality ratesin accordance with coding policies.
• Quality Assurance: Regularly cross-referenceand verify data across different sources to maintain high data quality.
• Compliance Monitoring: Maintain adherence tocoding guidelines and HIPAA /HITECH regulations to maintain ethical standardsand avoid legal consequences.
• Continuing Education: Keep up to date withchanges in coding standards and participate in educational opportunities toimprove job performance.
